Sharda World School, Keetham, witnessed a magnificent two-day celebration of ‘Shardotsav 2025’ on November 11 and 12. The event was marked with great enthusiasm, energy, and joy as the school campus came alive with the spirit of sportsmanship, creativity, and cultural vibrancy.

The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, former international hockey player Mr. Jagbir Singh, and Mr. Satyaki Banerjee, Head of School. The second day of the festival featured the final rounds of various sports competitions alongside a series of cultural performances, where students showcased remarkable zeal and talent.

The cultural segment included group dance, solo dance, Just-A-Minute (JAM), solo singing, and instrumental band competitions. Several students from several reputed schools of Agra participated in these events. The energetic performances of the students captivated the audience.

In the Just-A-Minute competition, Category A winners were Lavanya from All Saints School (First), Vaishnavi from Holy Public School (Second), and Aqsha from Sharda World School (Third). In Category B, Anushka from All Saints School secured the First position, Sneha from Holy Public School stood Second, and Anishka from Baluni Public School secured the Third position.

In the Solo Singing competition, Category A winners included Atif Khan from Holy Public School (First), Vinisha Sharma from All Saints School (Second), and Aradhya Sharma from Holy Public School (Third). In Category B, Tashu Gupta from Holy Public School, Sikandra, stood First, followed by Pratyasha from Crimson World School (Second) and Divya Singh from Sharda World School (Third).

In the Group Dance competition, Holy Public School and Holy Public Junior College shared the First position in a tie, while Sharda World School secured the Second position, and St. Conrad’s School attained the Third position with their captivating performances.

In the Instrumental Band competition, All Saints School won First place, Sharda World School secured Second, and Colonel Brightland School came Third. During the Prize Distribution Ceremony, the winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates. The atmosphere echoed with cheers and applause as the campus brimmed with excitement and celebration.

The panel of judges consisted of experienced trainers and sports experts who ensured fair and impartial decisions. Ms. Tanya Singh and Mrs. Rahina Singh judged the JAM competition; Mr. Sagar Jaggi judged the Instrumental Band competition; Mr. Aman Sehgal judged the Solo Singing competition; and the Group Dance event was judged jointly by Ms. Jeevisha Gidwani and Ms. Puja Pawar.

A variety of sports competitions were also held with equal enthusiasm. In Chess (Boys), New St. Stephen’s School secured the First position, St. Clare’s School came Second, and Holy Public School stood Third. In Chess (Girls), Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Ganesh Ram Nagar, ranked First, followed by Holy Public Junior School (Second) and Little Angels Senior Secondary School (Third).

In Table Tennis (Boys), Gayatri Public School, Shastripuram, secured First place, Radha Ballabh Inter College stood Second, and Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Kamla Nagar, came Third. In Table Tennis (Girls), Gayatri Public School, Wazirpur, claimed the First position, while Gayatri Public School, Shastripuram, took the Second.

In Basketball (Boys), John Milton Public School stood First, Holy Public Junior College came Second, and Gayatri Public School (Unit II) stood Third. In Basketball (Girls), Gayatri Public School achieved First place, John Milton Public School came Second, and All Saints School secured Third.

In Taekwondo (Girls), All Saints School ranked First, Sunrise School Second, and P.K.G.B. School Third. In Taekwondo (Boys), All Saints School achieved the First position, P.K.G.B. School stood Second, and Sunrise School took the Third.

In Football, Army Public School claimed First place, Colonel Brightland Public School secured Second, and Kanha Makhan Public School came Third. In Boxing, Colonel Brightland Public School bagged the First position, All Saints Public School came Second, and Greenland Convent School stood Third.

The role of the judges was commendable in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of all events. Mr. Sanjay Dwivedi served as the Chess referee. The Basketball tournament was officiated by Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Mr. Ashish Verma, Mr. Manish Verma, Mr. Umesh Sahu, and Mr. Naman Deep. In Football, Mr. Yogesh Kumar, Mr. Sumit Rajput, Mr. Devendra Singh Bhalla, and Mr. Rahul Kumar served as referees. Mr. Devendra officiated the Taekwondo matches, while the Boxing event was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Somesh. All judges discharged their duties with dedication and impartiality.

The school administration aims to foster not only academic excellence but also to instill social and cultural values in its students. The successful execution of ‘Shardotsav 2025’ was made possible through the collective efforts of Head of School Mr. Satyaki Banerjee, C.C. Coordinator Ms. Disha Chopra, Sports Teachers Mr. Shakeel Khan, Mr. Govind, and Mr. Nihal, along with the entire teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.
