Mental Health & Life Skills Wellness Session | April 2026
At Sharda World School, we believe that true education goes beyond academics and encompasses the emotional, social, and personal growth of every learner. In line with this vision, the Mental Health & Life Skills Wellness Session for the month of April was successfully conducted on 4th April 2026, providing students with valuable insights into understanding and managing their emotions.
The wellness session was thoughtfully curated to address the developmental needs of students across different age groups. For students of Grades I–V, the focus was on recognizing and understanding basic emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, and excitement. Through engaging activities and discussions, young learners were encouraged to identify their feelings and express them in positive and healthy ways.
Students of Grades VI–VIII explored emotions at a deeper level by expanding their emotional vocabulary and learning effective ways to communicate their feelings. The session helped them develop greater self-expression and empathy, enabling them to build stronger interpersonal relationships.
For Grades IX–XII, the discussions centered around emotional intelligence and self-awareness. Students reflected on their thoughts, behaviors, and interactions while gaining practical strategies to manage emotions, make informed decisions, and foster healthy relationships. These sessions encouraged introspection and equipped students with essential life skills for navigating both academic and personal challenges.
The interactive nature of the sessions, enriched with real-life examples, group discussions, and reflective activities, created a safe and supportive environment where students felt comfortable sharing their experiences and perspectives. The enthusiastic participation from students across all grades highlighted the growing importance of mental health awareness in today’s educational landscape.
The session was a meaningful step toward promoting emotional well-being and resilience among students. It reaffirmed Sharda World School’s commitment to holistic education, ensuring that every child develops not only academically but also emotionally and socially, preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world.
When students understand their emotions, they are better equipped to understand themselves and the world around them.
