Sharda World School came alive with energy, enthusiasm, and sporting spirit as it successfully organized its Inter-House Athletics and Table Tennis Competition on 24th April 2026. The event served as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their athletic abilities, teamwork, and determination while embracing the values of discipline and healthy competition.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Satyaki Banerjee, Head of School, who encouraged participants to give their best efforts and highlighted the importance of sports in shaping confident, resilient, and well-rounded individuals.

The athletics competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all houses. The track events were marked by remarkable performances and fierce yet friendly competition. In the 50-meter race for girls, Fire House secured the first position, followed closely by Air House. Fire House continued its impressive performance in the 50-meter race for boys, claiming the top spot, while Water House finished in second place.

The excitement continued in the 100-meter races, where Air House emerged victorious in the girls’ category, with Earth House securing second place. In the boys’ category, Fire House once again demonstrated exceptional speed and determination to clinch first place, while Water House finished as runners-up.

One of the most anticipated segments of the event was the relay race, which showcased teamwork, coordination, and strategy. In the 50×4 relay race for boys, Water House claimed first place, followed by Air House. The girls’ relay race saw Earth House securing the top position, with Water House finishing second. The race highlighted the competitive spirit of all participants and the importance of teamwork in achieving success.

Adding to the excitement, the Table Tennis Competition witnessed impressive displays of skill, focus, and sportsmanship. Water House and Air House delivered outstanding performances and successfully advanced to the finals, setting the stage for an exciting championship match.
