The programme commenced in the presence of the Head of School and esteemed faculty members, setting the stage for an intellectually stimulating competition. Students from the four houses—Earth Kingdom, Water Tribe, Air Nomads, and Fire Nation—participated enthusiastically, bringing energy, preparation, and passion to the event.

The debate centered on the thought-provoking topic: “Are modern wars more dangerous than wars in the past?” The subject encouraged students to examine historical and contemporary perspectives, analyze global issues, and present balanced viewpoints. Each house was represented by two participants who spoke both for and against the motion, demonstrating their ability to evaluate multiple dimensions of a complex issue.

The participants impressed the audience with their well-researched arguments, logical reasoning, and confident delivery. Their ability to articulate ideas clearly, support their viewpoints with relevant examples, and respond thoughtfully to opposing perspectives made the competition both informative and engaging. The speakers displayed exceptional poise, subject knowledge, and stage presence, keeping the audience captivated throughout the event.

The competition was judged by Mr. Sudhir Singh and Ms. Shruti Sodhi, who evaluated participants on key parameters such as content, presentation, language proficiency, and time management. The high standard of performances made the competition closely contested, reflecting the dedication and preparation of all participants.

After an exciting exchange of ideas and arguments, Water Tribe emerged as the winner, securing the first position. In addition, outstanding speakers were recognized for their exceptional debating skills and impactful presentations.

In their concluding remarks, the judges applauded the efforts of all participants and highlighted the importance of debate as a tool for developing critical thinking, confidence, and effective communication. They encouraged students to continue refining their oratory and analytical skills, which are essential for success in academics and beyond.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking the end of a memorable and enriching experience.
